The period between 800 CE and 1200 CE produced a number of natural and moral philosophers and theologians of Islamic, Christian, and Jewish backgrounds, all living within or under Muslim governments. Select two of following people, describe the background and religious affiliation of each, and show how their accomplishments were fostered by the communities in which they lived, and how these accomplishments later influenced Western Europe.
